Former President Donald Trump rattles Democratic cages like no one else. The latest example of him sending leftists into a frenzy began on Saturday when the 2024 Republican frontrunner addressed a New Hampshire audience on the scourge of illegal immigration.
Even as his words echoed through the appreciative audience, records for unlawful border crossings under President Joe Biden’s watch continue to fall.
Trump said he believes the actual number that Biden has allowed in is closer to 15-16 million. “When they do that, we got a lot of work to do. They’re poisoning the blood of our country.”
That was enough to send liberals into shock, but Trump continued. “That’s what they’ve done. They poison mental institutions and prisons all over the world, not just in South America, not just to three or four countries we think about, but all over the world.”
He is not wrong. The Latin American families of yesteryear have largely been replaced by tens of thousands of unvetted military-age males from all over the globe.

But leftist outlets such as MSNBC were not going to take the truth without a fight. Host Joe Scarborough claimed Trump was “literally channeling Hitler, talking about poisoning the blood of America.”
Mika Brzezinski, Scarborough’s co-host, declared that the GOP frontrunner “used the language of 20th century authoritarians.”
The Biden White House could not resist joining the fray. On Saturday, the administration released a statement equating the 45th president with notable dictators.
According to the writing, “Donald Trump channeled his role models as he parroted Adolf Hitler, praised Kim Jong Un and quoted Vladimir Putin while running for president.
Biden campaign spokesperson Ammar Moussa turned up the Democratic rhetoric with another wild claim. “Trump is not shying away from his plan to lock up millions of people in detention camps.”
The president’s deputy press secretary, Andrew Blake, joined the hit parade.
According to Blake, “Echoing the grotesque rhetoric of fascists and violent White supremacists and threatening to oppress those who disagree with the government are dangerous attacks on the dignity and rights of all Americans, on our democracy and on public safety.”
As usual, Trump was not deterred. Even as radical leftists breathlessly predicted the fall of civilization, the former president Saturday night posted his “poisoning” words for everyone to see on social media. In all caps.
