Trump Fundraiser Breaks Record, Blows Biden’s Out Of The Water

While President Joe Biden brought in over $20 million at his New York City all-star Democrat fundraiser, former President Donald Trump topped that — bringing in over $50.5 million at a campaign fundraiser in Palm Beach, Florida.

According to a press release from the Republican National Committee (RNC), Trump not only raised more money than his opponent but broke “every fundraising record in history for a Republican or Democrat.”

Before the event, the former president was confident about outdoing Biden’s $26 million night.

“Biggest night in Fund Raising of ALL TIME!!! Will double up the Biden number of last week at Radio City. People are desperate for change. They want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote on Truth Social before the start of the event.

The fundraiser was held at New York hedge fund billionaire John Paulson’s Florida mansion Saturday night and was only expected to make $43 million. The event, titled the “Inaugural Leadership Dinner,” had around 100 attendees, including several billionaires, as reported by The Independent.

Trump’s special guests included Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (R).

“The success of tonight’s event is proving what we already know: Americans are fed up with Biden’s record of failure, from the open southern border and sky-high inflation to the migrant crime crisis that has made everyone less safe,” RNC Chair Michael Whatley and Co-Chair Lara Trump said in a statement. “The Republican Party is united behind the effort to elect President Donald J. Trump, and Americans are lining up to join our movement and retire Crooked Joe Biden once and for all.”

The best part about this is that even with Biden pulling out all the stops by having former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, along with A-list celebrities such as Stephen Colbert, Queen Latifah and Lizzo, it wasn’t enough to make it a blockbuster night like Trump’s event.

Trump’s record-breaking fundraiser is a good sign for the Republican party, which has been struggling with raising money, compared to the Democrats. Even though Biden still has more total funds raised, Trump is still leading in the polls, according to RealClearPolitics.

Trump is polling well in all of the swing states, except Pennsylvania where Biden has a 0.1-point lead.

Looking at Trump’s record night, it’s clear that many Americans have had enough of the Biden administration.
