Trump Supporters Brave Elements And Poor Organization At DC Victory Rally

Thousands of supporters gathered in Washington, D.C. on Saturday for President Donald Trump’s final rally before he officially takes office as the 47th president of the United States. Despite the cold, wind and snow, the crowd packed the streets surrounding Capital One Arena.

The rally’s doors opened at 11 a.m., and President Donald Trump was set to speak at 5 p.m. Supporters arrived early, prepared to endure the tough weather, but soon encountered issues with disorganized lines that stretched across several city blocks.

Under the leadership of Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, crowd management quickly fell apart. Barricades and fencing created confusion, with attendees left to navigate the maze-like setup without assistance from city officials or police officers.

Law enforcement officers were seen in large numbers, yet many were standing in clusters rather than directing the crowd or providing information. Some officers faced away from the gathering, doing little to alleviate the growing confusion.

As rain turned into hail and eventually a snowstorm, families unfamiliar with the city struggled to make their way through the streets without guidance. The cold, combined with the lack of direction, made the wait even more challenging for attendees.

Despite these challenges, the rally saw a massive turnout. Supporters remained steadfast, cheering for President Donald Trump and celebrating their shared commitment to his leadership
