Trump Calls Biden Speech Threatening And Angry

President Donald Trump reacted on Friday morning to Joe Biden’s bizarre and threatening speech made in Philadelphia Thursday evening, noting its aggressive, “angry,” and “insane” tone.

In posts on his Truth Social platform, Trump said that the “words and meaning of the awkward and angry Biden speech” threatened America with the potential use of the military. He added that if Biden is not insane, he must be “suffering from late stage dementia!”

Biden and Democrats have changed gears in recent weeks as the critical midterm elections approach. While Biden ran for office as a “uniter,” he has turned to direct condemnation of supporters of President Trump and the America First agenda. He recently described what he called the MAGA wing of the Republican Party as “semi-fascists.”

During his Thursday speech, Biden described millions of Americans as “MAGA forces determined to take the country backwards.” He added, “Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”

Trump wrote on Friday morning that if Biden does not want to “Make America Great Again, which through words, action, and thought, he doesn’t, then he certainly should not be representing the United States of America!”

House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said that Biden is now campaigning for Democrats by ignoring inflation, crime, and real issues and instead choosing to “divide, demean, and disparage his fellow Americans.”

By Friday morning, Biden was off the teleprompter and appeared to lose his way from the fiery message that was written for him to deliver just the night before.

Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked Biden Friday if he considers all Trump supporters to be a threat to the country.

Biden answered, “You keep trying to make that case. I don’t consider any Trump supporters a threat to the country. I do think anyone who calls for the use of violence, refuses to acknowledge an election, changing the way you count votes, that is a threat to democracy.”

That response directly contradicted his Thursday script and the Twitter posts recently written on his behalf. In a post on Thursday evening, Biden’s official account wrote, “Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are a threat to the very soul of this country.”
