In Wednesday’s GOP debate, Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson emerged victorious. Opting out of the initial GOP primary, the former president strategically partnered with the ousted Fox News host, aiming to dominate the news cycle.
Trump decided not to participate in the Milwaukee debate, where notable figures like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, tech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy, former Vice President Mike Pence, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and Sen. Tim Scott were present.
Trump chose to avoid confronting the sizable array of rivals who would likely focus on criticizing him. Clearly, this wouldn’t be advantageous for him. Presently, every utterance by Trump is meticulously documented and stored to be potentially utilized against him in various legal proceedings.
Tucker’s interview took place at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster just two days prior to the debate, and it was carefully scheduled to broadcast on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, right before the commencement of the GOP debate.
In anticipation of the debate, Carlson’s team unveiled a Trump highlight compilation, hinting at their discussion topics, including Trump’s concerns about his safety, political animosity, election integrity and even his perspective on whether Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide.

The interview’s most significant segments, lasting 46 minutes, centered on Trump’s unrestrained discussion about Joe Biden.
Trump said, “I think Biden’s the most corrupt president we’ve ever had. And he also has the distinction of being the most incompetent.”
Trump continued, asserting that Biden is “compromised because China knows so much about him. They know where the money comes from. They know where it is, who paid it — they probably paid it.” Then, he brought up the Chinese funds that the University of Pennsylvania’s Biden Center received.
Trump added, “He is in many ways the Manchurian candidate. He is the Manchurian candidate, and he’s afraid to tell Russia to get out of Cuba. He’s afraid to tell China to get out of Cuba.”
Mentioning Kamala Harris, Trump said, “Her moments are almost as bad as his.”
Then he went on to address Biden’s health, saying, “You watch him, and it looks like he’s walking on toothpicks he’s so stiff. And then you see him on the beach, and he can’t even lift that chair. You know, they’re made to be light. He can’t lift the chair. He can’t walk to the chair. Somebody thinks he looks fabulous on the beach. I think he looks horrible on the beach.”
Regarding the 2020 election, Trump asserted, “I think the election was rigged. With Covid, they used it to cheat on things. And we have so much on it; it’s like, it’s so easy to prove.”
Furthermore, he delved into his belief that Vice President Mike Pence possessed the power to initiate the process of returning the votes to state legislatures for reevaluation. Trump contended that Pence’s decision to decline this action was due to receiving flawed legal counsel.
Regarding the 2024 presidential election and Ron DeSantis, Trump said, “DeSanctus is out. He’s gonzo. His people have figured him out. But if somebody else got in, other than me, they’ll go at him as viciously as they did me. These people are sick. They will go after them. And a lot of people say they will not be able to hold up — I do get credit for holding up quite well.”
