Resurfaced Clip Exposes Levine’s ‘Hypocrisy’ On ‘Gender-Affirming’ Care

President Joe Biden’s “transgender” Assistant Secretary for Health, Rachel Levine, was criticized online for “pure hypocrisy” after having admitted to having children before “gender-transitioning,” despite trying to normalize “gender-affirming” care, including gender change operations and hormone therapies for minors.

In a resurfaced clip, Levine, formerly Richard Levine, expressed relief over having waited to “transition” in his adulthood while addressing a meeting of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine in 2019.

“If I transitioned when I was young then I wouldn’t have my children. I can’t imagine a life without my children,” Levine said in the clip.

Levine’s message was interesting because he said the “wheels will turn” on societal acceptance of transgender transitions for minors during a Connecticut Children’s Medical Center discussion. He falsely claimed that children with gender confusion: “actually have excellent mental health outcomes.”

Referencing the clip, Levine received criticism from people who pointed to his push for puberty blockers and transgender surgeries for minors as part of “gender-affirming” treatment.

“Why doesn’t this guy want people to have the same opportunity as him?” asked Rubin Report host and free speech advocate Dave Rubin.

“So, this guy who’s pushing as hard as he can for YOU to be cool with chemical castration and surgical mutilation of your child, is glad he waited to start his ‘transition’ because had he done it soon he wouldn’t have his children. That’s rich,” talk radio host Joe “Pags” Pagliarulo wrote.

A Twitter user called out Levine’s “pure hypocrisy.” “Admiral Levine is thankful she wasn’t allowed to transition as a child, but she’s working overtime to transition your kids, preventing them from ever having children,” the user wrote.

“Kids for me, but not for thee!” another user said.

Another user blasted Levine for his hypocrisy in wanting to pass a law that allows minors to make decisions on life-altering body operations while admitting the relief he felt in waiting to transition.

The Biden administration fully supports “gender-affirming” treatment for children. Most Americans, however, do not.

According to a Summit Ministries poll, 71% of respondents were “concerned” about efforts to expose minors to the transgender movement. Of those, 41% said they were “very” concerned and angry.

Nearly a year ago, Biden released a video urging parents to “embrace” their child’s gender “confusion.”

“To parents of transgender children, affirming your child’s [claimed transgender] identity [is] one of the most powerful things you can do to keep them safe and healthy,” he said at the time.

Biden criticized the Florida Board of Medicine’s recent decision to prohibit puberty blockers, hormone therapies, or surgeries treating “gender dysphoria” for any minors in the state.

“Transgender kids is a really harder thing. What’s going on in Florida is, as my mother would say, close to sinful,” Biden said during an appearance on The Daily Show.

Kids should not be allowed to make life-altering decisions about their bodies. They might regret such decisions: later in their lives.
