Red Wave Picks Up Huge Steam After Trump’s FBI Raid

The “Red Wave” of Republican voters appeared to be fizzling as the midterm elections approached.

However, after the recent raid on former President Donald Trump’s home by the FBI, voters are fired up — and his support has skyrocketed.

The mainstream media has been reporting favorably in Joe Biden’s favor, claiming gas prices have gone down and job numbers are improving. The reporting also pushed the notion that Democrats were going to have a strong showing, and that, with the November elections looming, Republicans were facing much tougher elections than had been predicted earlier this year.

When former President Trump was outrageously targeted by federal authorities on August 8, the momentum began to shift. His Mar-a-Lago home, located in Palm Beach County, Florida, was infiltrated by FBI agents.

The Trafalgar Group conducted a poll a couple of days after the raid. Approximately 1,000 registered voters were asked, “Does the FBI raid on President Trump increase your motivation to vote in the 2022 election?”

A staggering 83.2% of Republicans responded that it did, with 55.3% of Democrats answering the same way. This showed a significant advantage in voter enthusiasm for Republicans going into the midterm elections.

The president of the Convention of States Action, Mark Meckler, discussed how he perceived the “red wave” to be losing steam before the FBI incident. “This FBI thing is off the charts,” Meckler said. “I can just tell you that from dealing with grassroots all over the country, people are freaking out. And by that, I mean, they’re going to vote, they’re going to drag everybody they know to the polls.”

“And a lot of people who weren’t that enthused don’t like the police-state stuff and they’re going to come out and vote, too.”

Many Trump supporters believe that the raid was politically motivated, with many pointing to the clear past and present illegal activity by nefarious actors like Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton. This clear contradiction, along with the witch hunts of Trump’s term in office and the circumstances surrounding the unprecedented raid on the former president’s Florida home, there seems to be legitimate cause for these concerns.
