Kinzinger Says He Will Help ‘Left-Wing Democrats’ Beat Republicans — For ‘Democracy’

RINO Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) announced during an interview with a left-wing news outlet that he plans to help “left-wing Democrats” win their elections over Republicans who he claims do not respect “democracy.”

Kinzinger, who is not running for reelection and has lost the support of the majority of his GOP base, appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” with Chuck Todd on Sunday — a move that is just the latest in his pattern of courting support from the left, following his decision to vote to impeach former President Donald Trump and join the Democrats’ partisan House Select January 6 Committee to further attack Trump.

While speaking with NBC anchor Chuck Todd, the outgoing Illinois congressman admitted that he was planning to fight against his own party in the name of the left’s favorite word, “democracy.”

“I’m curious. Liz Cheney said in some cases. She may have to help a diagram win against an anti-democracy Republican win. Do you feel that is what you will be doing the next couple of years or so?” Todd asked.

“Yes. The biggest issue, not everybody agrees with me and certainly in my party and even Democrats like to say, but you’re still a conservative, yeah, I’m a conservative, but the bottom line is the biggest threat right now to our country is democracy,” Kinzinger began.

“If you have Republicans that are running against even left-wing Democrats that believe in democracy and believe in voting, that person should be elected over somebody who would overthrow the will of the people and, ultimately, destroy this country,” he added. “This country cannot survive outside of democracy. It will turn into a power struggle between groups of different races, ethnicities, and different religions. Take that away. The country is a mess. Republicans that are for that have no place in office. I don’t care what their policy position on taxes are.”
