In a shocking social media post, a mother recorded herself administering an at-home chemical abortion and then put it on video-sharing platform TikTok. Newsweek reported the incident and called her action a “courageous decision.”
Identifying herself as “Monica,” the woman told the outlet that her desire was to have abortion “normalized and seen as what it is — healthcare.”
The Los Angeles woman posted details of how she went about aborting her nine-week-old unborn baby. She told how she prepared to chemically induce the act as the creation of a “safe space for women.”

Monica said that the media tends to ignore abortion and she wanted her peers to be able to tell their stories without judgment or criticism. “Well, maybe if I come forward and share my own journey, we can finally talk about it.”
As if the left-wing media does not already talk about abortion.
Monica told Newsweek that she hesitated to record and post her self-induced abortion due to the feedback she would receive. Her TikTok has been viewed over 3.1 million times and garnered over 3,700 comments.
Of course, many respondents were not happy with her cavalier approach to ending the life of an unborn child. Monica said that reaction did not bother her and she “was just so comfortable” with her decision.
She described their “hatred” and said it did not faze her. Rather, she had no regrets and said that what mattered most to her was “helping people.” And apparently getting attention.
Monica used the abortion pill mifepristone to end her pregnancy. According to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute, this drug is used for approximately 53% of all U.S. abortions.
It works through blocking the nurturing process of progesterone. That is produced by the mother’s body to provide the nourishment the developing baby needs. When it is prevented from supporting the baby, the lining of the mother’s uterus disintegrates.
The baby is deprived of nourishment and blood and dies in its mother’s womb. Another drug, misoprostol or Cytotec, induces contractions and bleeding and results in the baby’s remains being expelled from the mother’s body.
And this is something that at least one social media user felt should be celebrated and shared.
