Drone Activity Linked To Increased Radiation Levels In New York

Recent drone sightings across the East Coast have coincided with a surge in radiation levels in New York City, leaving residents on edge and prompting calls for increased vigilance. Authorities have warned that the unusual spike in radiation could be indicative of a serious security threat.

The Geiger Counter World Map recorded radiation levels of 1,048 counts-per-minute (CPM) in the Bronx and Upper West Side, significantly higher than the typical safety threshold of 200 CPM. For comparison, background radiation exposure for most people is between 5 and 60 CPM. These elevated readings are concerning, as they suggest potential interference from an outside source.

Gordon Chang, who has written extensively about China’s global ambitions, believes the drones could be linked to efforts to detect or plant a nuclear device. “The drones might be looking for something dangerous,” Chang explained, noting the concentration of radiation on both sides of the Hudson River. He emphasized that such activity could be linked to a potential dirty bomb or other nuclear threat.

Chang also called out the Biden administration for its lack of response to the issue, urging President Joe Biden to update the public on what is known about the drones and their possible connection to security risks. “It’s time for the president to be transparent and provide the American people with the facts,” Chang said.

In New Jersey, reports of missing radioactive materials have added another layer of concern. Local officials, including Mayor Michael Melham, have expressed their worries about a shipment of medical devices that was damaged. However, authorities have dismissed the situation as a “non-emergency.”

As the radiation levels continue to rise, experts are urging Americans to prepare for possible emergency situations. Stocking up on essential items such as food, water, and iodine pills could be crucial if the situation escalates further. The unexplained nature of the drone activity and its possible links to security threats highlight the need for greater preparedness across the nation.
