Biden Admin Sparks Outrage Over Border Wall Auctions

The Biden administration has begun removing unused border wall materials from key locations in Arizona, auctioning them off at steep discounts. Critics say this effort is a calculated attempt to obstruct President-elect Donald Trump’s plans to resume construction and secure the southern border.

A report from the Daily Wire revealed that steel bollard wall sections, left idle during Biden’s presidency, are being hauled away from Tucson, Nogales, and other border sites. The materials are being sold through GovPlanet, with bids starting as low as $5.

Whistleblowers from Customs and Border Protection say the removal effort is being carried out at an aggressive pace, with up to half a mile of wall segments moved daily. “The goal is to move all of it off the border before Christmas,” one whistleblower told the Daily Wire.

Arizona Rep. Eli Crane (R) slammed the move, calling it a deliberate affront to Trump’s mandate from voters. Crane said, “The Biden administration is well aware they shouldn’t have reversed the construction of the border wall. This is sabotage, plain and simple.”

The auctions have reignited debate over immigration policies as Trump prepares to take office. His campaign promise to finish the border wall resonated with voters, but the administration’s actions have left his team facing additional hurdles.

Millions of illegal immigrants entered the U.S. during Biden’s presidency, while border wall materials sat idle. The decision to auction off the segments is being seen as another example of the administration’s failure to prioritize border security.
