Adams Claims Biden Told Him To ‘Be A Good Democrat’ Amid Migrant Crisis

New York City Mayor Eric Adams revealed that President Joe Biden responded to his calls for help with the migrant crisis by telling him to “be a good Democrat.” Adams made the remarks during an interview with Tucker Carlson, where he expressed frustration over the lack of federal support for his city.

Adams described how the influx of illegal immigrants has put an immense strain on city resources, with thousands requiring housing, food and other essential services. He explained that many migrants have been in shelters for months without work authorization, leaving taxpayers to foot the bill.

The mayor, who has been indicted on bribery and fraud charges, said that Democratic leadership has failed to address the concerns of working-class Americans. He argued that the party is ignoring the realities faced by cities dealing with the migrant surge.

Carlson questioned Adams about whether New York’s sanctuary policies have contributed to the crisis. Adams insisted that the city has not encouraged illegal immigration but acknowledged that changes may be needed to address the growing challenges.

Criticism has emerged over Adams’ decision to appear on Carlson’s show, but his spokesperson defended the move, saying that the mayor is open to discussions with all perspectives to seek solutions.

Adams has expressed interest in working with President Donald Trump’s border czar Tom Homan to crack down on criminal migrants and improve public safety across the city.
